OVERVIEW
This position is a 12-month program. The first 6 months will be focused on the Three Creeks Church staff investing in the resident and providing experience on our workplace culture. During this time the resident will begin planning a timeline and launch strategy. The second 6 months will include executing the launch strategy, i.e. fundraising and recruiting.

Training in general church leadership and philosophy of ministry
Theological instruction
Experience in portable church leadership
Guidance in casting vision and strategic planning
Training in discipleship (1-on-1 and corporately, including planning and multiplication)
Access to relational and theological networks, i.e. Exponential Conference, New Thing, Columbus Church Planters Gatherings)
Guidance in financial planning, budgeting and fundraising
Experience in administration, project management and workflow
Training in recruitment, team building and delegation
Experience in communication (large/small group platforms, group trainings, meetings)
Coaching with Lead Pastor and other local experienced church planters
Access to on-going relationships and resources
Training in leading a staff/team, with access to each member of our team
Exposure to ministry and life in the Columbus, OH context

CONTEXT | Johnstown, OH
Johnstown is a smaller city of about 6,000 people located in Licking County, about 25 miles north east of Columbus. It is a small predominantly rural community ready for a new life-giving church. Because of its location on the east side, both Three Creeks Church and Bright City Church would be able to provide a great foundation to starting this church community.
